Overview
The Louder Than Words Grant Program, part of Finish Line’s Louder Than Words platform, supports nonprofit organizations that positively impact diverse and underserved communities, especially in the Far Eastside of Indianapolis and beyond. Through four funding cycles each year, the program focuses on specific areas including Health & Wellness, Workforce Development, and Safe Communities. Grants are awarded to organizations providing programs, scholarships, or services aligned with the cycle themes. Each grant can provide up to $10,000 in support to help expand access, equity, and opportunities for youth and community members nationwide.

Eligibility Criteria/General Requirement:
Applicants must:
Be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization
Positively impact diverse communities (51%+ of participants must be people of color)
Demonstrate the ability to provide culturally competent services
Address the impact of race-based discrimination and disparities
Grant Requests Not Accepted:
Political campaigns or lobbying
Discriminatory organization
Religious institutions or promotion of religious teachings
Fraternal, veterans, or labor organizations
For-profit-affiliated foundations
Endowments
Beauty or talent contests
Individuals
Research (medical, scientific, academic)
Travel or trip funding
