Overview: The Stevens Square Foundation provides grants for programs serving older adults in the seven-county metro area of Minnesota, targeting individuals with significant social and economic needs. These grants focus on socially isolated seniors (e.g., dementia, living alone, mental illness) and underserved groups such as ethnically and racially diverse populations, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant seniors. Grants range from $10,000 to $30,000 and aim to enable older adults to remain in their homes and communities.

Eligibility Criteria/General Requirement:
Applicants must serve older adults within the specified seven-county metro area. Priority is given to programs that:
Provide community-based services such as care coordination, caregiver support, food security, housing stability, legal aid, and transportation integrated with other services.
Advance innovative approaches to aging services.
Demonstrate client fees from those financially able to pay, such as sliding scale fees or voluntary contributions.
Show evidence of collaboration with other community agencies.
Not Eligible for Funding:
Direct medical, psychological, or dental services.
Services covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or other government programs.
Services for individuals in licensed long-term care facilities.
Capital projects, endowments, or major building construction.
Grants to individuals.
Application Deadline: January 6, 2025, to February 10, 2025
