Mobilize Power Fund

Website:  Mobilize Power Fund

Overview

The Third Wave Fund is a national fund that supports youth-led Gender Justice activism in the United States, aiming to advance the political power, well-being, and self-determination of communities of color and low-income communities. The fund believes that people directly impacted by an issue are best positioned to design and lead solutions, and that deep and lasting change requires addressing the root cause of an issue. The Mobilize Power Fund is a rapid response fund that resources gender justice organizations to adapt or pivot their work when faced with unanticipated, time-sensitive opportunities or threats. It prioritizes organizations led by young women of color, trans, queer, gender non-conforming, and intersex young people of color under 35, with an intersectional gender justice lens, and a total organizational budget under $500k. The fund works by accepting proposals all year and reviewing them monthly. It supports time-sensitive projects such as community organizing, healing justice work, conflict resolution, community accountability, transformative and restorative justice work, and direct action.
