The Black Oak Getty Community Foundation provides charitable grants to improve the quality of life in the Black Oak Getty Wind Farm Area Communities. The foundation focuses on community development, environmental stewardship, and education. It supports innovative and volunteer-driven programs that foster environmental awareness and positive community impact.

Eligibility Criteria/General Requirement:
Applicants must be tax-exempt nonprofit organizations.
Projects should have a significant positive impact in one or more of the following areas:
Education support and youth development
Housing, food, and basic needs
Civic engagement and community development
Conservation and environmental improvement
Preference is given to innovative, volunteer-driven programs that promote environmental awareness.
Grant Requests Not Accepted:
Projects outside the Black Oak Getty Wind Farm Area or those not aligned with the foundation’s focus areas.
Application Deadline:
November 30, 2025. Applications are reviewed in December, with awards distributed in January.
